Having recently increased their capacity for corporate hospitality at a time when many companies were reducing spend on corporate entertainment, our client a Premiership Football Club, wanted to explore new routes to market to capitalise on their increased capacity. We created new Google Adwords campaigns for them, which provided a new source of enquiries for both sales of corporate boxes and other matchday hospitality.
This led to proposals for further campaigns to target other audiences such as conference and events bookings at the stadium and an ad campaign on Facebook, aimed at offering fans subscription services to their web based TV channel. This had all the necessary ingredients for a successful campaign on Facebook. Being able to select an audience that you know is not only interested in the Club, but passionate about it, with a message about a subscription service they may otherwise have had to visit the website to hear about was a perfect use of PPC as a pro-active marketing tool.
