Google Grants for Charities
Google have a scheme called Google Grants. We can help your charity to apply for this, set up the Google Adwords campaign that the Grant would fund if the application is successful and manage the campaign at a nominal cost that is far outweighed by the value of the grant.
As an example of what is possible, we manage a Google Grant funded campaign for SPARKS, a national charity that funds research into medical conditions affecting babies and children. In September, the campaign showed SPARKS adverts 197,377 times on Google, resulting in 1,649 visitors to their website. Had they been funding this themselves, to generate this level of traffic/interest in their charity would have cost them $1,350 (Google grants report in dollars) if they had been paying for this exposure themselves.
We can create and manage your campaign for a fraction of this. Of course your charity may not generate the same level of interest as SPARKS, but just one new supporter could be worth far more than the cost to your charity.
We would charge a one off fee to help you submit the application and create the campaign, which would only be payable if you are accepted for the Grant. Management and reporting would be £75 per month. Again you would only continue to pay this if you are receiving enough visitors/benefit to justify it. There is no ongoing contract and you can stop at any time if no longer justifies the cost.
We are also happy to take on management of existing Google Grant campaigns, or discuss new non grant funded campaigns on Google and other platforms, which can still be a cost effective way of generating new supporters and raising funds for your charity. Please email dan.smale@theclientfactory.co.uk or call 01932 789572 to discuss.
