Where will my sponsored links and ppc adverts appear?

Pay per click (ppc) adverts appear on web pages directly connected to your selected keywords. e.g. if you sold shoes and had the keywords 'sports shoes', 'brogues' and 'bridal shoes' in your campaign, then your adverts would appear on web pages connected to these phrases. We can place your adverts on the search results pages of all the main search engines in use, and across hundreds of different websites including : Google, Aol, Yahoo, Hotbot, Bt, Ask Jeeves, Virgin, Ntl, Blue Yonder, The Times, and hundreds others.

How much business does pay per click advertising actually create?

The amount of new business created by pay per click advertising depends on the amount you spend each month, and the keywords you choose. We select the most cost effective keywords for your campaigns, and monitor their locations ensuring they produce the most qualified leads for the minimum expenditure on your part. We keep you up informed with regular reports which detail exactly how many people have actually clicked through to your site. In some cases this form of targeted marketing is so effective we have had to tone down our clients campaigns as they were unable to manage the response.

How long does it take before I see the results of my pay per click advertising campaign?

We can have your campaign up and running in a week. That means that you can expect a response from the campaign within 10 days of instructing us.

Who is Overture?

Overture is a company who controls the pay per click advertising placement on a network of sites and search engines. We use Overture to place your adverts and monitor their positions and costs per clicks (CPC). The positions of your adverts are dependant on the price you are willing to pay per click, with higher 'bids' being higher up the page. The bids are constantly changing which means that without constant monitoring of your adverts you could end up at the bottom of the pages or paying too much for each click. How much are your fees?

Our fees vary according to the number of keywords you wish us to use in your campaign and the monthly budget you wish to spend. There is an initial set-up cost covering sourcing of keywords, and writing and placing your adverts, and a monthly management fee for which we monitor and alter your cost per clicks to ensure you are receiving the best rate of return on your campaigns.

How much do I have to spend to get results?

we can run your campaign on whatever budget you feel comfortable with. We do have a minimum set-up fee of £250 and a minimum monthly management charge of £150, however once we set up your camapign, you can run it yourself with a minimum monthly budget of £50. Even £50 a month in 'clicks' will produce a lot of qualified leads.

How many keywords should I use?

You can use any number of keywords, the secret is selecting the best ones! We will advise you on the number of keywords for your campaign, depending on how many products you wish to focus on and your monthly budget.

Why do sponsored links create 'targeted' traffic?

Sponsored links are your adverts that appear on the search results pages of the search engines. When someone enter a search phrase that is the same as a keyword in your campaign, your advert will appear. This means that only people looking for your products and services are shown your adverts, therefore they are extremely qualified leads.

What are image and banner ads?

Image and banner ads are the picture adverts you see on many websites, from the small rectangular boxes to the 'banners' across the page, to the 'skyscrapers' running up the pages.

What is the difference between content and search matches?

Search match is when someone has enter a search phrase into a search engine and it matches one of your keywords, therefore displaying your advert; while content match is when a particular web page is directly relevant to one of your keywords, therefore displaying one of your adverts on the page.

Can I add more keywords to my campaign easily?

Yes, all we need is an e-mail instructing us to increase the size of your campaign, and an increase in your budget, and hey presto it is done. It will however take up to a week before your new keywords become active.

Can I change or stop my campaign easily?

Yes, should you find yourselves having trouble dealing with the increase in business, or wish to increase the intensity of your campaign we can alter your campaign with an email from you.
